Howdy Folks, it’s your old pal Brad again, with my top five Spots to hit this Last Friday in Clayton.
This month is our first ever “Themed” month, celebrating Clayton’s 150th year on this big blue marble – Clayton Through The Ages. There’s tons of stuff going on from Paw Patrol to Main Street Dance Parties, but these are a few of the spots I’ll be personally hitting up this Friday night:
1 - Canopy, 6-10 p.m.
Totally a shameless plug, but this month we have and AMAZING artist, Alyssa Occhetti, returning with all-new art. If you missed her last show, you missed out. Alyssa is going places and now is your chance to check out her work before she hits the big-time. This will be a family friendly/teenage show, so no (very limited) alcohol consumption at Canopy.
2 - The Market at Three Little Birds, 6-8 p.m.
Join The Market for a THROWBACK Friday in Downtown Clayton! Our featured artist is Laura from Pretty Clever Words. They will have live music with Kevin Kelly and a free wine tasting from 6 pm - 8 pm. ALSO - The Market will host an OPEN PAINT SESSION from 5:30-8 p.m. No registration is required. They will be set up with a variety of pre-cut stencils and projects for you to DIY. Personalized projects will not be available for purchase onsite.
3 - Purna Yoga East, 6-8 p.m.
Free Chair Massages – ‘nuff said.
4 - Design Haus, 5-8 p.m.
This weekend is the LAST weekend to take advantage of The Design Haüs’ Floor Sample Sale. Plus Michael lays out the fanciest of spreads. What better way to relax from a free chair massage than in a chair at the Design Haüs.
5 - Boulevard, starting at 9 p.m.
To cap off the night, swing by BLVD as Brock entertainment brings you all the best hits from the 8os and 90s. Come celebrate Last Friday in Clayton!! This is a 21+ event. NO COVER!!
Revival has new art from Jody Vaughan and music from the James Gilmore Trio
Unique Gifts by Jacquelynn will be bringing the frickin’ PAW PATROL to the DTC.
Wine on Main has Bill West playing from 7-10.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST - 80’s KARAOKE AT FLIPSIDE. HOLY CRAP, YES.
All in all I’d say we’re geared up for another successful Last Friday. I’ll see you on the streets!
